Message	12v. You also need enough amps. A new battery should be good, but that really sounds like an electric power problem. I'd check the cable condition and connections. .... If you get the "click", then the starter relay is working properly. .... Can you turn the engine by hand or pushing the car? (to make sure it's not locked up.) In my city, I can take the car to a parts store with a diagnostic machine, and they will identify the problem.
